The Challenge

IHG set out to do something ambitious: create a learning platform that did not just support employees, but opened the door to anyone looking to build a career in hospitality.

The challenge was not simply content. It was how to design a platform that could attract and engage a global audience, provide meaningful and structured learning pathways, and remain simple enough to be accessible to people at the very start of their careers.

At the outset, the platform had early traction but limited scale, structure, and reach. The opportunity was clear: transform it into a global learning ecosystem capable of supporting real career pathways into hospitality.
